South Korean law allows for injunctive relief in cases involving discrimination based on disability. However, tradition and culture have been slow to assimilate this form of legal relief. A conference of lawyers, judges and advocates recently convened in Seoul to discuss ways of encouraging the use of injunctive relief to remedy discrimination.
