International Best Practice for End-to-End Transport Opportunities for Disabled People

Tricia Malowney OAM CF is the Chief Accessibility Advocate  to the Department of Transport  and Planning in her home State of Victoria Australia.  Her role is to amplify the voices of peoploe with disabilities.  Tricia was awarded The Rodney Warmington Churchill Fellowship to assess international best practice for end to end transport opportunities for disabled people’.  Tricia’s report can be read here. Awarded a Medal in the Order of Australia in 2017 and inducted into the Victorian Honor Roll of women in 2013 for her work empowering women with disabilities Tricia's main goal is to empower other disabled people.

Tricia has developed a global survey for public transport users and will be sent out annually to people with disabilities internationally.  Tricia wants to see what is done well and what can be done better.   This survey is applicable no matter where you live and Tricia would welcome your input.   https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TriciaPT . 

The survey results will be shared with the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning, and with the wider global community public via LinkedIn and through her many networks.
